Chords ringing too long

I’ve got EZkeys playing simple blocks chords in a section…and they keep sounding well after the midi info. Like the chords is still being held/sustained and take forever to end. Did I trigger some kind of “sustain pedal” command or something? Using Reaper in Windows 7.

What sound library/preset are you using? Some will have long reverbs and other effects applied, and the sound of the instrument can sometimes have a long decay time.

It was doing it no matter what sound I use…grand, upright, Rhodes, wurl…no effects were running in my DAW. It started as a midi track…but even it didn’t do that. Not until I started to mess with it…then, something happened…lol. I just hacked a couple seconds on a new DAW track and then edited it. No problem then.
