    Hi,

One possibility why it can’t find the sounds is that the disk where you had them has become unmounted or been renamed.

We can check where you used to have them and what seems to be the issue, if you open Application > Utilities > Terminal and paste the following commands to the Terminal window, all at once:

    ls -leOd /Library/Application\ Support/EZDrummer/Sounds
    ls -leOd /Library/Application\ Support/EZDrummer
    defaults read com.toontrack.superior.auezdrummer SourcePath
    defaults read /Users/Shared/Toontrack/Preferences/com.toontrack.superior.auezdrummer SourcePath
    ls -aleO /Volumes/
    echo

Afterwards, select all text in the Terminal window (cmd-A), copy it and paste it in your reply.

FYI…Ive already deleted EZ drummer cuz I was told to reinstall and now since I’m at 10.11.6 it wont download EZ D which only goes up to 10.6

It looks like you used to have the sounds in “/Volumes/Mac 1T HD/SAMPLES/EZ DRUMMER SAMPLES/EZDrummer”, but now there’s no disk named “Mac 1T HD”.

What of EZdrummer did you delete (the plug-ins and/or sounds)? Did you run the uninstaller?

Hmm…I have 2 external drives (Sample for just samples & Pete’s Hard Drive for back ups) and internal iMac 250 SSL & 1T called Pete 1 T. At this point ive uninstalled ez drummer before i realized the reason the reinstall wasn’t working. I am running 10.11.6 and the ez drummer (via Product manager) only goes up to 10.9

Is there any way to use ez one with 10.22 or do i have to upgrade to ez 2 in order to work??

    thx

I think there’s a good chance that this installer will work on your system even though it says it’s only up to 10.9.

However, you have to run this Terminal command to remove the reference to the disk “Mac 1T HD”, so that EZD and PM will see your sound libraries, which will now get installed to /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer (on your system disk).

    defaults delete com.toontrack.superior.auezdrummer SourcePath

(Paste it into a new Terminal window and press Enter.)

    @Jacques:

Please use the Toontrack Product Manager.

    Hi ,

I have the same issue after the last Windows 10 update: cannot use any of my 78 Toontrack produts, ED2 midi files are gone, the EZD dll is nowhere to find, stuff I have since 2012 is shown as “Not downloaded, Not installed “in the product manager. WTF?

    Regards,

    Chris.

    Hi John

I know this is an old thread but – where in the product manager is the uninstall function? I just want to uninstall and reinstall EZD2. I cant find an uninstall option anywhere.

Hello, I am an EZ drummer customer and own several sound libraries.

I am trying to get it all to work through the product manager on my new Macbook M1 .

I is stated that EZ Drmmer  only works up to OS 10.9 , ( I am on Big Sur) yet reading through some of the replies here, It seems that,  it will work if I type some terminal commands. Is this correct?

    Can you please help out.

    Thank you

    Luis

It will probably work without any Terminal commands. But please use the Product Manager application instead of the web version which your screenshot shows. Let us know if you run into any issues.
