I may be missing something, but I tried both VST and AU formats nothing works. this is how I proceed with the setup. Load SD3 enable midi out, Load up my external vst, in Ableton I put midi in and midi pre from SD3, I also turned monitor to IN, I tried to arm both the track with sd3 and the track with the vst and nothing.
