I’m starting to build a rather large collection of midi files. Both ToonTrack and my own (user libraries). To facilitate a faster work flow I’d like to ‘weed out’ certain midi files I won’t be using. What would be the proper way to remove/delete those midi files from EZDrummer2 ?
And would there be a difference between deleting TT midi files as opposed to deleting my own user files ? As I’m concerned with altering TT’s Add-on packs and EZX MIDI Libraries.
I do btw understand that the ’empty’ folders are necessary and will not remove them.
Thank you…
Hi,
altering the content of the Toontrack MIDI is not supported and will cause troubles sooner or later.
Your own added MIDI is another thing, you can add/remove/reorganise as you wish.

Thank you for your response John. I went into the folder (Win 10) and removed a few midi files as a test. I then ran EZD2 and did a tap2find search. The files that I removed still showed up in the search results but had a yellow triangle next to them. So I’m assuming they are still ‘listed’ in EZD2, even though I removed them from their folder. Is there a way to remove them so EZD doesn’t think they are still there ?
And no, I didn’t touch any Toontrack MIDI, only my own added MIDI files.
Is there a way to remove them so EZD doesn’t think they are still there ?
EZdrummer 2 needs to sync the changes you have done in the added folders.
Go to Menu/Settings/MIDI Libraries. Right click on the folder(s) you have made changes to, and select Sync File Changes

Thank you Henrik. I did eventually find it last night and corrected the problem.
