Hi,
I am going to be recording an album with the same drum setup and levels for each song. I plan on using tracker to replace the toms, snare, and kick. Each song will be in a different Cubase project.
Ideally I would like to record the first song, configure each drum in tracker, complete with the velocity and drum sound settings for each drum, and then save those settings so that for my next song, I can simply import the audio and the velocity/drum sound settings are the same (but I can make small tweaks if needed).
How do I save these settings? It seems right now I can save a project in tracker, but it saves the audio and if I remove the audio, the settings are cleared.
Thanks!
Hi,
it sounds like a great idea to have user settings to recall or Import from another Project, especially in your situation with many songs recorded under same conditions.
I would put in a request for this in the ‘Requests & Feedback’ section.
Meanwhile, I think I would import e.g. the Kick from Song B when Song A is done and then select all Kick A regions, Copy Settings from the ‘Tracker’ drop-down Menu, then select the Kick B regions and ‘Paste’ the Settings.
After that, I would clear Kick A.
I’m not in front of a Tracker Project right now but IIRC this should work.
I hope this helps,
John
