Hello
I want to play my analogue snare (brushes) in combination with superior drummer and my Roland TD11, this would be the connection I have in mind:
snare > mic > audio interface > midi > Logic Pro > superior drummer
Is this doable, can I play my analogue snare with brushes and have my td11 (superior drummer) sounds in parallel?
Thanks
Bernhard
If you mean can you record audio and midi at the same time then the answer is yes. The snare mic will pick up the other pad hits as well. Â Just enable the SD3 midi track for recording and the audio track and set it going. If you mean can you use the audio from brushes to trigger SD3 sounds then I would say not.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
