Edit Style & Hi-Hat Articulations

    That is right, Edit Play Style doesn’t allow for that level of detail. However, you can copy and paste notes from one block into another, so you could for example record some open hi-hat hits using Tap2Find, drag the Tap2Find loop to the song track, optionally adjust the articulation in it using Edit Play Style, copy the block and finally paste the hi-hat into the block where you want to add the hits.

    You are correct that you can’t edit individual hits in Edit Play Style (EPS). EPS is designed to change the play style with broad changes, like “add more of that instrument” and “change power hand to that instrument”.  If you want to add specific hits to certain places on the time line, this is best done in the grid editor in your DAW!
