What I mean to say is can SD3P files be shared? If so, does anyone “share” files on the net with others? I want to find some authentic Beatles sets with Midi and Libraries all together but unable to locate good ones.

    Hi,

SD3 Projects can be shared with other users, yes. To be able to open another user’s Project, you need to own the products used in the Project and/or have access to external files if such are used.

This is interesting. I would love to get some kits that sound just like the original songs. For example, this video shows how to tune a specific kit to sound like Zeppelin’s When the levee breaks. It would be great if we can all share a config that sounds exactly like a specific song/artist. Of course, all under the assumption we are all paying for the kit we need to use.

I’ve been playing with some recordings to get to a similar sound on Pink Floyd’s songs, but it’s hard. It’s also fun to play with FXs and all of that, but from time to time it would be good to just load the config and play.

Did you come up with a SD3P file that works for trading?

I do own SD3 and the vintage kit. I am still unable to find project downloads from other users. It would be great if toontrack would offer some type of user project sharing. So we can take advantage of expert users’ kit, mic drum, and velocity settings? I’m no expert and always have a sense that my v drums are not working properly in SD3.
