Greetings:
Even though I’ve been using Superior 3 since it was initially released, I’m just now having time to map and set up all of my EZX and SDX kits to my liking (based on usage in Superior 2.4). One option that I haven’t been able to find is an X-Drum preset, which exists in Superior 2.0+.
Is this option available and I’m just missing it in the Menu? If not, is it possible to be implemented? It is an extremely important aspect, as I prefer specific ride cymbals, cowbells, shakers, etc. to exist in each kit that I create. Adding each instrument in 20+ drumkits is extremely time consuming.
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Hi,
there’s ‘User Instruments’. It’s available in the right-click menu for each kit piece if you wish to save or replace; or in the ‘Add Instrument’ menu if you wish to add a saved User Instrument.
If you have saved several kit pieces in a User Preset, you can load parts of it.

John

Hi John,
Thank you very much for the information. This is a nice workaround to the X-Drum preset option in S2 but not nearly as “elegant”. Loading 6+ instruments simultaneously would be much more helpful but thanks to this info, I’m no longer setting up multiple instruments, MIDI Note Numbers, routing, etc. for each external drum.
Thanks again!
Mike
