I have noticed there are articulation velocity “issues” with some snare grooves in EZDrummer2. I import to my DAW and I can hear the articulation (which is fine if you want them) even if I max out the velocity MIDI notes. Shouldn’t that articulation go away if maxed out? There’s nothing worse than having a blast beat snare and having to try and match it because that is a really time consuming task. And before the “that’s how a real drummer plays it” comments start, this is not a real drummer, it’s EZDrummer. This is just the bane of my existence at the moment….and finding another blast beat won’t do the trick, especially when grabbing from another MIDI pack and the whole “another drummer sampled them, so it’s going to be different” reply. If I choose a kit, it should sound like that kit, but with snares it’s always a hit or miss and if I max out velocity, the articulation should go away…..I also tried replacing the MIDI note and add another one, but the articulation is still there, obviously cause it’s coming from EZDrummer.
So my question is, if I crossgrade to Superior 3, will I be able to remove those articulations and have the same snare with no variance in velocities or articulations? If so, then I am sold! Some guidance would be appreciated!
thanks
