As i like to work out a drumtack in SD3 while syncing to Cubase 9. Then i copy the miditrack data into Cubase, and switch follow host playback in the SD3 VST off.
But every time i (re) start Cubase or reload the cpr file the syncing is active again. Got SD3 putting out sound data twice thus …… How can you switch ‘follow host’ sync off PERMANENTLY in SD3?
Are you running the latest version (3.1.2)?

Yes, this is a bug that will be fixed in the next update, but we don’t know when we’ll release that (because of about 24 million reasons) 🙂
But until then, in projects where you have the MIDI in your DAW you can create a new empty song track, and select it, in SD3 – so when you open the project the next time, the empty track will play in SD3.

Thanked by: Jack 007The update is on it’s way, but it takes more time than one may guess. It’s much more complex than just fixing the code and posting an update, but we are on it!
