Libraries accidentally exist on WIN10 OS drive –I want to change drives…Easy?Copy+point?Reistall? Is there a FAQ that really fits this?
Hopefully that says it all… I’d like to move all my libraries to my 2nd and/or 3rd drives. I’m just getting set up w/ SD3 coming from EZ2. All the EZ2 stuff, apparently, now effortlessly sits inside SD3 ( …as far as SD3 tells me,…brilliant! )
My concern is with how SD3 will respond after I’ve copied said libraries to Drive #2. … … I’ve copied EVERYthing over already w/o deleting the originals. Is it possible to delete orig, (without final deletion= ‘restore’ if I mess up ) then initialize SD3 — so, then it MIGHT point itself automatically to the files on the other drive …will it ASK me where it all is??? And then, can it perform and SEE everything it needs to? Seeing as SD3 likes to gather all it’s kindred spirits under its wing… I’m thinking the[you] engineers at Toontrack … or POWER-users should chime in on this… either way , it’s my fault for not noticing how I completed my SD3 install. Lastly, how will the Toontrack Manager APP respond… or can it help me achieve these specific goals??
You can move the Superior sound libraries and reset the path as described in the manual:
