Cymbal mute issue in ATV ad5

Hi,

I’m using ATV ad5 to trigger SD3, and ad5 sends aftertouch event when I choke cymbals or hi-hat pedal splash.

But, I have realized that SD3 does not support MIDI mapping from aftertouch inputs so I cannot trigger cymbal mute with ad5 at all.

Can somebody know how to solve this issue?

Is there any plan in toontrack to support ad5?

I have exactly the same issue, exactly the same setup. Not been able to resolve it yet.

I contacted both ATV and Toontrack, and neither could help. I believe the problem ~could~ be sorted from within SD3 as using the ATV AD5 mapping within Superior Drummer 3 does provide choking, just not if you switch a cymbal sound out for a different one.

It’s a shame as I’d really like to sort this.
