Hello,
I have a question about the Drum Tracker Feature in Superior 3.
I am on a Windows 7 PC and use Pro Tools 2018 as my DAW. I am trying to convert real drumhits into Midi. I have done this several Times in the Past without Problems using the Tracker Function and then dragging the Midi into my DAW on a separate Midi Track.
Today I am trying to do this with a Song which has quite a few Tempo Changes.
When I play back the Midi thru Superior 3 the Hits seem to be ok. But when I drag the Midi into the DAW the Midi Notes are off after the first Tempo Change and it gets completely messed up.
Is there a way to fix this?
I tthought I can export the Files to my Harddrive and then reimport it but that doesn’t work either. If I import the Files as a Track it messes up my Tempomap even if I tell Pro Tools not to import Tempo from Midi. And when I just import it to the Cliplist and drag it from there to a Midifile it’s the same as if I would drag it right out of Superior.
Best Regards
Hi,
if you have Tempo changes on the Pro Tools Conductor Track, you can export a MIDI file from PT and Import the Tempo of that MIDI file to the SD3 Song Track.
If you have Tempo changes on the Song Track, you should disable ‘Follow Host’ before using the internal Bounce feature.

hi ! got the same issues. it doesn’t work, even without the “follow host” button highlighted.
it follows the first tempo, without applying any tempo change….got an idea about how to fix it ?
thanks !
Hi bushkab,
which version number is displayed in the SD3 plugin interface?
If you have imported the Tempo changes to your SD3 Song Track and then disable ‘Follow Host’ before using the internal Bounce, it should work as expected.
Can you see the Tempo changes on your Song Track?
Are you using Pro Tools as well or another host?
