  I’ve been searching in the manual and forum for the best way to do the following:

  I have a complete preset I’ve designed that I like, but I’ve found a factory preset that has a kick drum I prefer.

  What would be the best way to recreate, as closely as possible, the preferred kick drum (top, bottom and sub samples, plug-ins, etc) into my current preset? Is there a one step “copy/paste” function, or multiple steps I should follow?

  Here’s how I’m doing it now (assuming I’m duplicating just the kick from preset B to a complete preset A).

  1. substitute kick B for the kick in kit A (in Drums tab)
  2. in Mixer tab for kit B, save a preset for each kick plug-in (kick in, out, and sub)
  3. insert those saved presets into the appropriate mixer plug-in slots for kit A (now with kick B)
  4. adjust bleed and levels to ear
