Hi, using the jazz filter in the grooves section the midi data for the Jazz file is not working as expected. I have restored the midi data base but this has not corrected the problem. All others genre of music types seems to be functioning normal. Please note that I have already tried altering the time signature and the temp.
Any other advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
What do you mean by “not working as expected”? Doesn’t the result files play in correct tempo or time signature?

Too bad he didn’t answer, but as I had the same problem a few days ago, I can say that in my case the results were incomplete and I had to manually hunt down Jazz MIDI, making guesses from other keywords such as Swing and of course less common time signatures as well. I always consider browser based file searches to be icing on the cake though, so I don’t really go in with an expectation that they’ll find everything you expect them to.
what’s up with the mapping? in the jazz grooves the ride pattern is being played on the snare. how to fix that? just installed a fresh version of the midi core pack.
I am experiencing the same as Curtisunit, I just installed today Superior Drummer Version 3.3.6 specifically for a Jazz project, and Jazz grooves are mapped wrong. Please help!
Henrik, it is about a wrong mapping. Midi files sound with the expected groove but not with the expected sounds. Things like a rim playing open hats, a snare playing a ride.
Which groove pack and preset are you using? I just tested a whole bunch of Jazz MIDI from various Toontrack libraries and they are playing the proper kit pieces (brushes where appropriate).
