I created some midi drums for a track in Logic Pro X but i’m getting random hits for my main crash cymbal. Some sound louder, some softer and it just doesn’t sound normal or realistic. All the velocities in Logic Pro are at 127 and I have to turn off the “adjacent layers” to get it to sound better. This humanize function turns off makes the hits seem more robotic and computerized. Is there a solution for these random hits? Maybe I have to move the midi notes to a different note/key on the piano roll? PLEASE HELP! lol

You can try to enable/disable the individual features in the Hit Variation box to hear the difference they make.
Can you export an mp3 and upload here so we can have a listen to it? Cymbals will have a natural difference between different hits, so no 2 samples will sound exactly the same. I wonder if it’s just this difference you are hearing…
