Are you using 64-bit Cubase? S3 is only a 64-bit VST.

How can I check it ?

It should say somewhere in Cubase. Maybe in the Help>About Cubase menu.

There is just the version, not 32 or 64bit…
Is the 32bit incompatibility mentionned somewhere on Toontrack website ? I’ve just bought Superior 3 today…

Yes. From the S3 Product Page:

    SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS.
64-bit Windows 7 or newer, 4 GB RAM (8 GB RAM or more recommended). Mac OS X 10.6 or higher, 64-bit Intel-based Mac with 4 GB RAM (8 GB RAM or more recommended). 64-bit host (with support for VST, AU or AAX). Standalone is included.
SOFTWARE: Approx. 320 MB download + installation space.
SOUND LIBRARY: Basic install: Approx. 41 GB download and an additional 41 GB for the installation process. Complete install: Approx. 236 GB download and an additional 55 GB for the installation process.
SSD install (optional): Approx. 236 GB pre-installed.

If I recall, Cubase 5 was the first version to have a 64-bit version. But it’s been years so I’m not sure. You can check with Steinberg to see if they have a 64-bit Cubase 5.

Ok, thank you very much. I’m gonna test cubase pro 9.5 trial and check if it works.
    Have a nice day

are you on Windows or Mac?
on Mac, right-click on the Cubase app and choose “Get Info”. There is a 32-bit checkbox indicator there.
