    Hi,

sorry about that, confusing I understand.
When the Custom & Vintage SDX was released, you could only use it with Superior Drummer 2. The Core Superior 2 library was N.Y. – Avatar. IOW, you couldn’t use the C&V SDX if you didn’t have the Avatar SDX.
Now, with SD3, you can still buy all SDX:s but some of the SDX Producer Presets are obviously dependent on the Superior 2 Core Avatar Library.

So, there is nothing wrong with your installation.

I don’t understand your answer as it relates to the expectations that the product description -and therefore my purchase- set.

How can it be that “nothing is wrong” when I product I purchased – C&V – errors out when I try to load a preset that is described as coming from that purchase and is described on the site as containing those producer presets.

I don’t like this answer, and am highly unlikely to consider buying any more SDXs since I can’t rely on the product description to give me an accurate representation of what I’ll receive. As an owner of several alternative drum VSTs including Slate Drums, Addictive Drums, and Native Instruments, I have never run into this problem through upgrades or late version purchases.

    Regards,
    DL

    Hi,

I am sorry, my intention was merely trying to point out that you as a user had done nothing wrong, that the problem lies elsewhere.
I know that this is being looked into but I have no more news at this time, I am afraid.

    BR,
    John

Thanks, that is a bit more satisfying. Hopefully I’ll receive notice of a fix in the future.
