Ezdrummer 2 .1.6 64 bit. -Logic 10.4.1
If I try to drag the Midi files from the browser onto the Arrange page of logic or Ableton live and it will not work.
What’s going on.I even reinstalled EZdrummer

Exact same problem.
Cannot drag and drop midi clips from EZD browser into a clip slot in the Session View of Ableton Live (WIN 10, Ableton Live 10.0.1 Standard, running as administrator).
You can DRAG the midi clip, and the mouse cursor changes in the drag icon (little rectangle and a ‘+’), but when you release the mouse button onto the clip slot, NOTHING happens.
p.s. running EZD as a standalone, and drag and dropping midi clips onto the desktop works without a hassle…
Hi,
dragging MIDI from the plugin to the DAW, should indeed work. The other way around only works with 1 or 2 hosts, limited by the host.
If you’re on Windows, please check your (hidden) ‘C:ProgramDataToontrackEZdrummer’ folder if there are any .mid files in there. If so please delete them.
This space is where the EZdrummer creates a temp file when you drag a MIDI file from the plugin. It should disappear when you close the plugin.
You also can check that you have write access to this folder, otherwise the temp file can’t be created.
The corresponding location on a Mac would be ‘Users/Shared/Toontrack/EZdrummer’.
