If you want to bounce individual instrument audio from MIDI in your DAW (Cubase),
you’ll want to split SD3’s mixer outputs to individual channels in Cubase and render/record as you might any other input signal.

The SD3 manual speaks to multiple outputs and other mixer settings:

OK thanks for the reply! I was thinking that was probably going to be the only way. I was hoping there was a quicker option. It’s time consuming because once I setup the multiple outputs, the only way I know how to record the audio is to route each individual output to it’s own group channel, then setup another channel to record on setting that channel’s input to the to the output of the group channel. It’s a lot of channels to setup and manage just to get the audio? Is there a better way to record the audio once the multiple outs are setup? Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

why don’t you use the SD3 internal Bounce feature?

John I want to do the same thing. However I am in LOGIC Pro X.  I know that I could bounce in SD2.  But when I try this same feature in SD3, it seems to only work doing this if the midi is generated from the SD3 interface.  Essentially I am using SD3 as a plugin and ALL midi is created/edited in LOGIC.

    WHEW!!!

So ho can I accomplish this?
