I am trying to setup a nice template and am having some serious midi issues. I try to midi-learn my cymbal setup and all seems to be going fine, until i think I am done and all the setup seems to screw itself up. By the end of learning 5 cymbals, I had my china turn into a floor tom, my splash overwrites my cymbal 2, etc. When trying to troubleshoot the issue, I opened up logic to make sure the midi was transmitting correctly and saw a serious issue – superior is not reading the midi correctly. I made a video to demonstrate the issue here: https://youtu.be/4pM4FLjFGsU
Logic shows all the correct midi mapping that corresponds to my TD-10, but somehow superior 3 is changing some of the notes. What am I doing wrong? Maybe some setting I have missed or something I enabled by accident?

Well, first of all you need to update to the current release, which (now) is 3.1.1.
Next, have you loaded any MIDI Preset, e.g. the TD-10 Preset, on the MIDI In/E-drums input page?
If you have a MIDI In input transform loaded and then Learn the notes in the MIDI Mapping Property Box on the Drums Page, things get messy.

Yes, thanks so much John. All it took was to update to the latest version; the new midi area makes much more sense now. Started off the preset and all is well again!
