Hey guys!
Any advice would be great. I’ve recently updated my version to the latest upgrade and since then SD3 doesn’t work in Cubase properly.
It’s there, it’s assignable but it says that the resources and the installed version don’t match.
It’s advising me to re-install it which I’ve tried, I’ve also tried resorting back to the older version and still no joy.
Anyone got any ideas what I’m doing wrong?
Thanks
Does it say what versions of plug-in and resources you have? What are they?

Hi Olof
It says that the VST version is still 3.0.3, resource is the updated 3.1.1
Like I said before, I’ve tried uninstalling etc. still no change.
I’m assuming that this just needs updating in Cubase but I’ve tried updating plugins in the plugin manager and it still doesn’t change it.
I’m sure it’s going to be something stupid.
Regards
Could you try the standalone? If it works there and is version 3.1.1, select Show Plug-In Path from the Help menu. Add that path to the plug-in paths in Cubase, and delete the Superior Drummer 3.dll version 3.0.3 that is in one of the other paths.

I’m having this exact issue too. I’ll try to delete the old plug-in .dll file & re-install tonight to see if that solves it.
Weird, my version installed the plugin into a different directory at the update. First install went into my C drive VST folder, then the update went into the D drive VST folder. I had to copy the D drive .dll file into the C drive one and it works now.
