The change was made because we wanted to unify the colors in the software. I agree that we might have lost some contrast here, so I’ll take a note if this in our todo lists. Thanks for the feedback! 🙂

    Midi note colour?

I’m thinking in a quite different way to colourise midi events at all. Thinking about different colours for each instrument like kick, snare ect. Also switchable functionality to changes colours for grid performances in midi editor. For example: Making the grid to 16th notes, all midi notes will automatically showing different colours depending how close they are individuality to the 100% 16th grid timing position on raster and so on. Selection than probably the colour which notes are most far away from grid will automatically select all this notes to make them more close to the grid raster. (like 50% and whatever is desirable) Same for velocity parameters and so on. To use computer and software could be so easy if not most global programmers are so intelligent with full of bits and bytes in there brain. We need more easy people which are programming software. If possible. When computer starting to help human people and not fighting against them, this will change extremely the way to use computer at all. For musicians I think all DAW midi editors on market are still in stone age without helping humans in a easy and fast way. Hopefully Toontrack can do it some days better than other companies.
