1) create a new EZKeys track in Logic and open the EZKeys window
2) click the BROWSER button in the EZKeys window
3) select any MIDI library, e.g. EZKEYS MIDI->Single Chords->Sustained Chords->Variation 01. Drag it down to the timeline in the EZKeys window.
4) press the Delete key to delete the sequence (because you’re stupid and you forget that EZKeys has no clue what to do with key presses).
=> The track is deleted in Logic.
5) Select Undo in Logic.
=> the track is restored in Logic with the EZKeys instrument
6) reopen EZkeys. Note that the Variation 01 MIDI segment is not restored.
This is a trivial example. It’s NOT trivial, and is a huge pain in the ***, when one is 32 bars into a series of edits where one has changed every chord in a MIDI segment and loses all the edits. This counts as a data loss bug, and prevents me from doing more with EZKeys.
