    How do I take MIDI from my DAW and put it in the Tap 2 Find feature? I want to find similar grooves to one I’ve created and when I cut and paste I get a message saying there’s nothing on the clipboard.

    Most DAWs prevent dragging MIDI anywhere except to another track within the DAW.
    This probably is due to most DAWs storing MIDI events in the session file
    and not as individual clips in a folder within the operating system like their audio counterparts.

    However, there are otherwise a couple of methods to get this done:
    easiest and most direct method,
    1) You can record your DAW MIDI into the SongTrack within EZDrummer2 and then drag it into Tap2Find
    (recording within the EZDrummer2 to the SongTrack is described in the Operation Manual starting on Page 18;
    and in numerous threads in this forum)

    or, 2) export your MIDI out of the DAW to your desktop (or any location of your choosing),
    then drag it from that location into the SongTrackand then drag it into Tap2Find.
    (currently, external MIDI files cannot be dragged directly into Tap2Find)
