EZMIX 2 Install Error from DMG file

I searched the forum prior to this post.

I recently purchased EZMix 2 my MAC OX 10.6.8 desktop and laptop. I was able to install the program successfully onto my desktop but am encountering an error while installing the .dmg file onto my laptop. Each time I get through the Introduction, Read Me, License…and press install, I receive a message showing an exclamation mark and “The installation failed.” “An unknown installation error occurred. The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance.”

I am also the owner of EZ Drummer 2, and was able to successfully install the program on both my computers.

Hi. This seems to only happen on 10.6 and has to do with that the certificate that the installer was signed with has expired. A workaround is to set your system time back to BEFORE June 1, 2017. Then perform the installation and finally set the time right again.
