is percussionist from dfh1 not supported anymore?
i have many presets including these sounds..it still works on sd2

No. DFH1 libraries are not supported in S3.

Will DFH1 libraries ever be? I remember they were not supported when Superior 2.0 came out too but they became available.
DFH1 libraries were supported from release by Superior 2.0.

My Mistake, Apologies, I find alot of the kits from DFH1 still sound great and ws wondering if they will ever be supported again?
You can still use SD2. With all software it gets to a point where it’s not practical to make it backward compatible. The original dfh was a lot of years ago now. I still have DFH1 myself although I haven’t used it in a long time.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
