    Hi Steve,

this is because you are loading an EZX with a Preset that is using the EZdrummer 2 mixer FX. These can be loaded in SD2/3 but not edited.

This happens with SDX as well (Progressive Foundry SDX). In my eyes it’s very dissapointing to buy an extension for a software and beeing unable to use it 100%.

Will there be a fix for this?

…or at least if not a fix, some form of documentation that shows what each “Black Box” is/does so that we can attempt to replicate it in SD3?

    John:

Thanks for clearing that up. Is there a reason the effect from EZD2 does not exist in SD3?

Paid a lot of money for the Progressive Foundry SDX to figure out how Forrester built the greatest drum tone of all time…
It’s good to know he used the mysterious “Black Box”.

    Hi John,

Why is this happening for the Progressive Foundry SDX in SD3 though? I can see the effects in the presets in SD2 but not in SD3. Is this expected?

    Thanks

Also curious here too and want to see what the fx are to be able to apply them elsewhere. Just bought Progressive Foundry SDX, I own SD2 and SD3 and see this “black box” under the fx for the majority of the presets (Luke’s Kit, etc)
