Hope that makes sense. I often record and reverse a snare and use it as a whoosh up to the beat. I see with Sup 3 that I can reverse the snare but of course it starts on the beat instead of ends on the beat… is it possible to have it “lead up” to the beat, preferably a stacked snare. I tried playing around with the offsets and stuff but can’t quite get it to do what i want.
This is a tricky part, since the MIDI shouldn’t only be playable from the song track of Superior Drummer 3, but also from a host (Cubase etc), or real time with a keyboard or E-drums. This is impossible, so what you have to do is to move the MIDI notes (that that plays the reversed instrument) to the left, so they align with the hit of the other instruments…
I’ll take a note of this, and we’ll see if, and how, we can improve this system!
