I just purchased the Progressive Foundry SDX for SD3 and installed it on my computer. I can access all kits and presets and most thing work well (besides the MIDI mapping seems to be slightly different), but when I open the mixer section, most effects can not be edited – they just show “Black Box”.
Am I doing something wrong or is this the normal behavior (maybe because it’s an “old” SDX from SD2)? I am running on WIndows 8.1, SD3 has a partial installation (not all Mics and Bleeds from the standard library), Progressive Foundry SDX is installed fully.
Regards Reiner
I’ve just tried this on the Rock warehouse and they all look ok to me. Can you be more precise. Are you trying to insert them onto a single part of the kit?

Hi Mark,
here is a screenshot of what I mean. The “Black Box” appears on some effects from the presets.
