In SD2, once a user selected a groove, there was another window to the right of the selected groove that had various kit parts- Kick/snare/hats etc.
This appears to be gone from SD3???
I used to be able to auction different drum beats in the library, having only “hi hat” selected, and I could try different Hi Hat patterns with a current groove I had in DP.
Has this feature been deleted?
If it has, I would like you guys to put it back. It is much needed to be able to play only certain kit pieces when auditioning grooves.
Do you have an EASY work around for this in the event you guys ditched that great feature?
I will add here that after I got EZ 2, I would go back to SD2 for this one feature alone.
I would have a drum part for example, but not dig the kick patter. I could audition any beat in the library , but any beat selected would only play it’s snares.
Help
We have gotten more requests for this feature and we will look into it – since it is a useful feature! In the meantime, it’s possible to copy a groove from the Grooves tab and select what instruments to paste on the song track, but you can’t preview the instruments… Thanks for the feedback!
