Hi,
Is it possible to assign different ambience levels to the snare and toms etc?
I don’t see how to do this.
Thanks
I wouldn’t think so as ambience captures the whole kit. I don’t know if there are bleeds into the ambience mikes that can be turn on and off but that still wouldn’t give you what you ask. You can use the plugins for reverb etc and vary the level on each component.
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Have you tried adjusting the bleed of each drum in the room mics? You can do it there if you downloaded the extra bleed portion. You could also add reverb to any drum like Mark said, but that’s not the natural sound of the room.
Yes I found it, it’s in the “bleed from instruments” section for the ambient channels, they can be adjusted or muted there.
Cheers
Ah cool. Will have to take a look.
