I am running SD3 on my Mac using my vdrums (TD25). Everything works spectacularly. I have encountered an oddity and want to find out if it is a bug in SD3 or if I am doing something wrong.
When using the built-in MIDI recorder in SD3, Cymbal Chokes are not recorded. I can play and hear the cymbals choke properly during recording but when I play back the MIDI file, the cymbals just ring and are not choked. Additionally, if I do the same recording through a DAW (Logic Pro X) the chokes are recorded properly.
Will someone confirm that the cymbal chokes are not recorded in the built in SD3 MIDI recorder? Any other thoughts?
Thanks!

I’ve been away and tried this myself on a Win10 machine in standalone mode and correct it doesn’t record chokes. It does play them but not on the recording. How strange. Must be a bug.

We will look at this and hopefully fix it in a coming update.
