I’m surprised there is no way to filter by Tempo…???
I would rather have a Tempo filter than “Power Hand”…???
Most times when I am looking for a groove…it’s specifically tied to the Tempo/BPM of the song I am working on.
So while it is possible to group by Tempo once you set your filters…you are not able to filter by Tempo…so because of the other filters, you end up with a lot of grooves that don’t match your desired song Tempo.
This needs to be added to SD3.
In the Grooves tab, there is a menu entry in the menu (a button with text “Grooves”, top left) – Advanced Sorting >
If you there uncheck “Sort by Priority”, the default sorting will be to try to match the current projects tempo.
We have discussed adding more options to the Grooves tab (filter by BPM for example, as you said). We’ll see when we have the time to look at it!

7 years and you still wonder if it’s a good idea to add a tempo range filter?
For drummers?
Drummers and tempo is a strange combination, as strange as having a “date of publication” filter in a library.
