Hi, I have a DTX522k kit from Yamaha, and the Yamaha mappings work fine with EZDrummer 2 standalone, but they don’t work in VST with Ableton.
Steps:
– I go into ableton, drag the EZDrummer2 on a new track, open the plugin, go to Settings, EDrums.. Choose Yamaha.
– Play
Expected behavour:
-My drums to be mapped properly, just like they do in standalone mode.
Actual behaviour:
– My drums are improperly mapped, worst of which is some HiHat hits becoming Toms, and lack of choke control. All of which works fine in standalone mode.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
