Need help with an authorization code not working.
Moved EZdrummer to a new laptop, removed the old laptop authorization, generated a new authorization for the new laptop.
Tried to enter the new authorization in the new laptop install of Ezdrummer and gets rejected.
yep did the same thing…and mine is not working either

Are you both using Product Manager to authorize?

You can authorize your products through Product Manager. Have you downloaded and installed via Product Manager?
See the Product Manager walkthrough video.

yes I downloaded everything so far I just installed the PM now when I click installer on the EZDRUMER2 it says I can only download apps from the App Store
this is very frustrating and would of just got a real drum kit instead lol any tips please?
OK so how do I authorize my downloads I don’t know what that means by computer ID? and computer description? ALSO!!!! my EZX metal has a config error it won’t even try to open!
Are you getting errors when installing and authorizing in Product Manager? You may get a config error when you install an EZX is you haven’t installed the full EZD2 first.
If you have watched the above Product Manager walkthrough video in the link above, and are using Product Manager to download, install and authorize your products, authorization should be as simple as clicking the red Authorize button for your installed product. See the walkthrough video at around 3:25.

I have everything updated ,installed its just this Authorization button its not working like the video states! there is no offline button and do I really need another laptop? I only have this Mac!!!! reason why I bought the Mac! I’ve tried everything even went to Youtube. Should I uninstall everything and try again can I even do that? since I got the downloads from another store “musicians Friend” I don’t know what is going on other than this is time consuming! when you say its simple as clicking a button..I wish!
I’ve taken a look at your account and everything you have done (downloads and install) has been via the website and not through Product Manager. Have you downloaded and installed the Product Manager program? It does not appear that you are using Product Manager to authorize which would explain why you don’t have the Red Authorize button.

I installed by clicking installer on the product manager so do I go to contents and then resources?

I don’t know what you are referring to there.
Can you post a screenshot of your Product Manager so I can see what you are seeing.
