Hi,
I just purchased the regular EZdrummer 2 software from Musician’s Friend and installed it. I noticed that Guitar Center says that you get a free EZX expansion with the purchase. I also saw a forum post that said all 3rd party retailers offer it, but I haven’t recieved a serial number for one. Am I supposed to get one? And if I am, where can I find it?
Thanks, Alex.
I would contact Musician’s Friends and ask them if that was what the deal was.

I already did and the guy said he wasn’t sure, so that probably means no. His guess was that it was something Toontrack offered when you installed the product. I’m not even sure how it works when you buy it through Guitar Center; they don’t give much information about it. So it’s not something that Toontrack offers when you buy it from any 3rd party retailer?
The retailers are responsible for their promos and distribution of corresponding serial numbers.
The Toontrack Webshop is offering Superior Drummer 2 sales and no EZD2 sales.

Okay, thanks again for the help. I’m pretty happy with what I have so far anyway.
