Conversion Feature – Where is it?

For example, when I drag a midi track from EZDrummer 2 into SoundTrap, the kick sounds like a snare (just an example), the snare sounds like a high hat, etc. Do you know where I can go to convert these tracks so SoundTrap plays the correct drum piece? Thank you.

Hi,

I am not familiar with SoundTrap, is it a plugin or a DAW? Does it follow the GM standard?

If I would need to convert e.g. EZdrummer 2 MIDI to Addictive Drums 2 MIDI to use on a Pro Tools track, I’d select the EZdrummer 2 MIDI in the groove Browser, click the MAP WRAP (Master) and select the Addictive Drums 2 mapping and then either preview through the destination plugin via routing in my DAW or just drag it to the track in question.
