I’ve recently bought a new PC and I’m reinstalling EZ Drummer (1) and DFH. Authorization/installation have gone fine and I finally got it to pull up in my DAW (Reaper)- the regular Pop/Rock kit and Cocktail kit both work fine. However, when I pull up DFH, it brings up the error “EZ drummer cannot find the sound files” and tells me to move the files or reinstall.
I’ve reinstalled 3 times, still bringing up the same issue. In the PF>PF(X86)>TT>EZD files I see the dfh folder and in the sounds folder is a 539mb “soundb0.obw” file and none of the usual folders with samples/sounds. I’m ASSUMING that the installer isn’t correctly extracting/installing the sound files from this but I’m stuck and would appreciate some help. Thanks, Kyle.
Are you installing from DVDs? If so, I would recommend downloading and installing via Product Manager.

I installed everything through the product manager. Still getting the same issue, no matter how many times I uninstall/re-install.
Does the installer run to conclusions or is there any error message connected with the install? Or only after the installer run to completion and you open in EZD?
Is there any DFH MIDI in the Grooves section of EZD after installation?

No and no- when I open EZD in my VST effects in Reaper I see the issue. I can program and play the regular Rock/Pop/Cocktail sounds fine, it just can’t locate the sounds for DFH. Installation goes fine each time.
Yes, grooves shows up fine. I can drop and use all of the midi files, I just can’t use the midi files while DFH is open because there are no sounds loaded. DFH plays fine in TT Solo, btw.
