Tempo matching from EZ Drummer to Cubase

I use EZ Drummer 2 and love it.. but, I can’t get the songs to match tempo, when imported to Cubase Pro 8.5 I set the tempo on EZ Drummer to match my project, before I export the file.. But drums continue at 120 bpm regardless. I have done it before with no problem… This started being a problem just recently. I could use a little help. Scotty

Hi,

are you saying that even though you have another Tempo set in Cubase, the imported MIDI plays back at 120 bpm?

I guess you need to review your Cubase Preferences concerning MIDI, I think there is a ‘IgnoreMasterTrackEvents on Merge’ option, that you may need to toggle.
