So after watching all the YouTube videos I decided to get a Nanopad. No problems with the driver in Windows 7 and no problem running the Korg Kontrol Editor. With EZdrummer in standalone it receives midi and I can activate the drums from the pad, but in a DAW – not possible. I have tried in Pro Tools and Reaper and while I can even see the Nanopad recognized as input devices in both AND I have set the Edrum mapping to generic rather than none – I simply cannot make the controller trigger anything. I have tried MIDI channel 1 as well as global but I get absolutely nothing. The same goes for Superior Drummer although I haven’t fiddled with that one much yet.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Hi,
if you create a Stereo Instrument Track in Pro Tools and insert any other Instrument, can it be triggered by the Nanopad?
If so, replacing that Instrument with Superior 2 or EZdrummer 2 should work as well.
