Hi,
I love EZKeys and I think it’s a very innovative idea that helps with laying down chord progressions using great sounding tones!
There were two questions I have:
1. Are there any songs in the examples that are in the minor key? I find that they all take the major keys if I was to change the key from the controls.
2. The sharp notes are much softer than the naturals. Anything that I am doing wrong? I have tried pressing on all parts of the keys.
Thanks!
Dee
1. I’m not sure about this question – do you want to know if there is any MIDI in the MIDI library that is played in a Minor key?
2. It’s just a graphically issue – if you press the bottom part (on the GUI) of a white key it’s played in full velocity, if you play the bottom part of a black key it’s not played in full velocity. This doesn’t reflect how the keys really work – if you press them on a MIDI controller they all work the same.
I get that this is confusing and we should probably change it so that pressing the bottom part of a black key also plays in full velocity!
