Trying to add EZDrummer to new machine. Invalid PC ID.

Just got new PC running win7 and tried to load original CD installer to new machine. Goes all the way through, but then won’t show up in programs to launch it. Try to add PC to my list (only have one at the moment from original install) and it says Invalid PC ID. Can’t get SW to load, run and recognize new PC.

I don’t recommended installing an old EZD dvd on a newer OS like Windows 7. You should download and install the full product from your Toontrack account. Then apply the latest update from the Updates tab.

Next, you won’t find EZD in Programs. It is a VST instrument that needs to load in a host like Cubase, Pro Tools, Sonar, et al. Or, in Toontrack Solo (found in your account).

Third, you can’t use the old Computer ID from your old Computer. You need to launch EZD in your host (see above) and the Computer ID will be generated uniquely from your new computer. Use that new Computer ID to authorize.
