Hello- Using EZD2 (and LOVE it!)-
When playing my DTXIII Extreme/900, the cymbals are choking on their own. They’re also staying stuck on choke. Behavior includes:
– The HighHat foot pedal is influencing the choke. Example: I can unlock/lock the choke by stomping my foot and hitting the high high hat
– If one cymbal self chokes/locks, All cymbals are stuck on choke.
– Sometime I can unchoke by manually choking the cymbal with my hand.
This happens more and more as time goes on. I can clear it up for awhile if I restart EZD2. Not the greatest ‘feature’ while gigging.
Setup:
EZDrummer 2 with all the updates
Yamaha DTXIII Extreme updated to DTX900 – Set to General Midi
USB out into Macbook Air 2012 i7 8GB ram
Yamaha Mapping selected in EZD2
No DAW… Going Raw within EZD2
Any thoughts?

Hi,
I think you need to record the data coming out of the module to rule things out.
You need to be able to see that it actually sends Aftertouch messages for both when you pinch and release.
If you can see this but still hear chokes get stuck, we’ll take it from there.
You have confirmed that the version number 2.1.1 is displayed in the EZdrummer 2 interface?
Have you changed USB cable?
