I recently purchased EzDrummer2 and installed it as i should with update and so on.
When i check the plugin path it says: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/EZdrummer.vst
But when i check in that folder there is nothing. So it is impossible to get it in Cubase because how should i know where the plugin path is?
What should i do?
Hi,
can you please post a screen shot of your ‘/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST/’ folder, with ‘Show Path Bar’ enabled (Alt+Cmd+P)?

There you go!
Vet inte om du är svensk men det kanske är bra om vi tar det på engelska så att flera kan ta lärdom.

Ok,
that’s your User Library path. The plugin installs to your Main Library – Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST.’
Can you find it there?
(Jo, jag är svensk men det är få Users och även Advisors som kan svenska, så allt tas på engelska, även svensktalande emellan)

Thank u, now i found it in plugin manager.
But when i add it, ezdrummer will appear on the list with a grey color. I cannot do anything with it. I cannot find it in Vst instrument either.
How do i get it to work?
Try running the 2.1.1 update, then re-scan your VST Instruments in Cubase and restart Cubase.
Can you now insert EZdrummer 2 on a Stereo instrument track?

No, nothing of this helped… I tried to uninstall and reinstall Ezdrummer2 but still the ezdrummer vst plugin is greyed :/
Hi. I think you can enable a plug-in via the cog wheel button at the bottom of the Plug-in Manager window.

When i press the cog wheel button it only shows or not showing the Vst plugin path window. And i have set the correct path..
But when i start ezdrummer via applications and press settings, i cannot press all of the options. Ezdrummer is saying that it is unavailable in the standalone. Is it standalone version i have downloaded or is it just saying so because i started it in standalone mode?
It feels obvious because when i downloaded the installations it was only one file. Checking everything….
It’s because you started in standalone mode.
Select EZdrummer in the list in the Plug-in Manager and click the ‘i’ button to see “Plug-in Information”, where you can make a plug-in active or inactive.
