Is there any way to make this happen without dragging the midi from the song creator window to an instrument track in Pro Tools? I have real time chord display checked, but only see chords if there is incoming midi registering, not when the midi is just in the song creation window. Is it a bug or that’s how it’s supposed to work?

It’s by design, since the the chords that are being played on the song track already are visible on the song track.

Thanks for speedy reply. I’d still love for it to be a user option since it’s just easier to see, particularly if the timeline is not really stretched out.
