I just upgraded to ezdrummer 2 and bought ezmix 2. I’m having an issue with both but mainly ezmix, when I open the program I get an error that says “Failed to open audio output device. Please check the Audio Device settings.”
The first time I was able to select my ASIO device which is a line 6 UX1. Once i close the program once then I am no longer able to bring it up because the ASIO device tabe is blank. I can’t use EZmix on another audio device because they all lag even with different buffer sizes.
I have up to date drivers and the ASIO is working great with everything else. I have also tried 32 and 64 bit programs and nothing is working. Thank you.

UX1 driver version number? Version number of EZmix2?

Have you tried any other ASIO driver (ASIO4ALL) to see if it’s a problem with the Line6 driver?
Is there a reason you’re not using the EZmix 2.1.1 (64-bit)?

I have both verisons of EZmix 2.1.1 currently. I also don’t have the option of ASIO4ALL in ezmix, do I have to download this seperately?
You wouldn’t have the option automatically. ASIO4ALL is a 3rd party driver. If you download it and EZmix2 works with it, it would point to something being amiss with the Line6 driver.

asio4all shows up in ezmix2 but no sound comes out when i play my guitar. however, the levels do move like its picking something up.
