EZDrummer 1 rhythm problem in Garageband 10.0

When I import a rhythm from EZDrummer 1, as a plugin, into Garageband I can play the rhythm in EZDrummer but when I add the same rhythm to a track in Garageband and play it I don’t hear the hihatt. I use El Capitan, Garageband 10.1.0 and EZDrummer 1.

Hi,

EZdrummer 1 was discontinued about 1,5 yrs ago and the last update was released about a year ago, so assuming it will work in a newly released OS may be a bit optimistic.
That said, it seems something else is the problem here. Am I understanding you correctly that you can preview a groove alright in the plugin’s Groove Browser but when you drag said MIDI groove to the track hosting the plugin in Garageband, it plays back the groove in the EZdrummer 1 plugin but without the hihat?
