Are the samples inherently noisy?

  Just installed EZD2 today and here’s my set-up.

  -Macbook Pro i5 16g RAM
  Roland TD-11 V-drums

  I have the Roland unit connected to the MBPro via USB and set-up the EZD2 to match that. Plugged the headphones into the computer (not the module). The sounds are good (especially the cymbals) but the noise of the samples is terrible! Are the sounds really that noisy? Are there things I can tweak to get rid of the noise?
